This Month's At-Home Project: Homemade Vehicles!!

Hello Everyone,

Our new Unit Theme at school is Transportation.  I thought what better way to build excitement over this theme, than to let the kids create their own transportation vehicle from items found around the house.  Maybe they will build a race car, maybe a spaceship, maybe a school bus...whatever it is, it should have moving parts, and be able to transport someone (themselves, their hamster, a doll/figure, whatever) from one place to another.  Parents can help with the design and material collection phases, but the creation should be 100% student-made!!

Here are three examples that I found online to help get those creative juices flowing.
Students have until Halloween to finish the project, and they can bring them in to show to the class whenever they have finished it.  Happy Building!!
