To celebrate our fun learning about dinosaurs, I found this great
Dinosaur Alphabet and Song from “Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train” at PBS Kids. I am giving each student a copy of the
alphabet and song so that they can practice learning the dinosaur names at
home.
The project this week is for each
student to create their own dinosaur poster for the letter given. Each student will have a different letter,
and can use whatever materials they wish to make their poster amazing. On Friday we will share our posters and post
them in the room to create a cool new alphabet.
Please draw, paint, or construct a dinosaur on your poster and
include the dinosaurs name. You can use
the dinosaur listed on the alphabet chart, or look up a different dinosaur that
begins with your letter.
