Make Dinosaur Eggs

*Inspired from an idea found on Pinterest, posted by Jen Goode.

Materials Needed:                How to Make Dinosaur Eggs:

*Salt   (¾ cup)                        doughy, clay-like texture.
*Sand  (½ cup)                     *Mold the dough around one of the
   *Water                                    plastic dinosaurs.
*Plastic Dinosaurs                 *Let the eggs dry thoroughly.
(This may take a few days).

When hard and dry, let your little Paleontologist try and “unearth” their dinosaurs!!  Use paintbrushes, toothbrushes, or any other delicate tool that a real paleontologist might use to protect the specimens.

Send in the pics so we can post them on our class blog!

Here Adam is creating the dinosaur egg fossil.

Now Adam is using his Paleontology skills to carefully unearth his dinosaur.

Check out Adam's dinosaur skeleton.  Great job, Professor White!!
