Back-to-School Night Presentation

In case you weren't able to make it to Back-to-School Night, I have added the link to our presentation.  It is pretty straightforward, with some simple information.

Welcome to Cordelia Hills Elementary!!

My name is Mr. Linnet and I will be your Kindergarten teacher this year.  I am so excited to work with all of you.  We have a beautiful campus, new Common Core curriculum, and some state-of-the-art innovative technology for all of you to use during your time here as a Cordelia Hills Coyote!

In our class, we focus most of our attention in developing the skills needed to be strong readers and writers.  Another part of the day is dedicated to improving your knowledge of math and science.  And the rest of the time is spent challenging yourself through a variety of fun station activities. You will use a touch-screen Smartboard, iPads, robotics (Sphero and Ollie), whiteboards, digital and printed books, and lots and lots of manipulatives.  I know that you are going to LOVE coming to school each day!!
