This week’s At-Home Project: Make a Color-Mixing Video
Hello Super Students,
This week I wanted to challenge our class to do something
very different, and hopefully very fun.
In class we will be exploring colors and learning how to mix primary
colors to make secondary colors.
I thought it would be a lot of fun to let you become the
teacher as you create your own lesson on mixing colors, then have mom or dad
record you teaching your lesson (to the class, to a brother/sister, to anybody
you want to). Have them record the
video on their smartphone or tablet, then email me the link so that I can add
it to our blog. This way everyone in
class can see your great lesson on mixing colors.
I have posted some videos to our blog to give you ideas, but
feel free to get creative and have fun with this project. Use paint, food coloring, playdoh, tissue
paper, anything you want that will allow you to show others how to mix
colors. Try to keep the videos under 5
minutes so that I can post them on the blog (long videos sometimes won’t upload
for me). I’ve never done this project
before, so this is not mandatory, just something fun to try out. I hope that you enjoy it!!
I’m very excited to see what my little teachers have to
share with us!
